Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service

Bedfordshire FRS have been working and collaborating with LearnPro Group since 2007 when they first began using the pdrPro Classic product. They have been one of the biggest contributors to the development of the Competency Management System and were instrumental in shaping the way LearnPro Group do business with UK Fire and Rescue Services.

Bedfordshire FRS are more than a customer; they are a true partner to LearnPro Group and have impacted the shape of our products at multiple points along the development journey. They have worked with LearnPro Group to develop an effective training recording system, changing the shape and direction of travel of what initially had started life as an incident recording system.

From 2011, Bedfordshire FRS have been also using the LearnPro LMS product, and they have been involved in shaping LearnPro Groups system integration development to make the two products combine seamlessly.

In 2013, LearnPro Group and Bedfordshire FRS engaged in another major project, working in collaboration with the service led by the then Area Manager Ian Evans, re-specifying the pdrPro system. This resulted in the next generation, Version 3 of the product, which was rapidly adopted by other UK FRS and provided a significant jump forward for the system.

Bedfordshire FRS have been a key influence in the creation of Development Pathways and Operational Assurance modules, which have gone on to be used by multiple other UK Fire Services.

In 2023, Bedfordshire FRS added the XVR On Scene virtual reality incident command training and assessment product to their training system portfolio to become one of the first all product customers for LearnPro Group. Bedfordshire FRS now have 643 operational staff and 254 green book staff users, managing their training and compliance through pdrPro and the LearnPro LMS.
