This November, our annual learnPro LMS User Group Meeting took place in Glasgow, bringing together nearly 50 users from 30 organisations across the UK Health, Social Care & Communities sector. Throughout the day, learnPro Product Experts shared the latest LMS updates, customers presented inspiring use cases, and attendees had plenty of opportunities to network and exchange experiences. The day ended on a high note with the first-ever learnPro Customer Awards.
Presentation of the new LMS 7.1
Our Product Expert Gary Mullins highlighted key updates to the new learnPro LMS v. 7.1. The main feature is a significant upgrade to the admin functionality, introducing multiple roles and more granular admin levels – long-requested by our user group. The new version also includes updates to the Accreditations & Evidence and Course Booking System.
Customer showcases & presentations
We’re grateful to four customers from different sectors for sharing their use cases:
Moray Council shared their journey back to learnPro when, after being long-time users, they had to go to tender. This was an opportunity to revisit how they use the LMS – and in close collaboration with the learnPro team, they mapped out their challenges and needs, resulting in a more efficient LMS and better value for their users. Their efforts were rewarded with staff reporting high engagement and satisfaction.
Ark Housing delivered a thought-provoking presentation on digital inclusion, showcasing the importance of considering community and individual access to technology as well as accessibility needs. The accessibility option in the new LMS user interface supports this by allowing users to access dark mode as well as dyslexic fonts and backgrounds.
Trust Housing Association spoke on their challenge of managing face-to-face training and capturing accurate data, and how they implemented a self-service model in order to empower staff to take more control over their own learning activities. learnPro was praised for the smooth implementation and support throughout the process, which has resulted in high staff satisfaction and accurate reporting.
Cosgrove Care shared reflections on their first year as learnPro LMS users, coming from a place of using multiple systems and struggling with engagement as well as data accuracy and integrity. One of their biggest achievements is implementing the Scorecard functionality, boosting compliance to an impressive 98%.
