“We previously had a learning management system that was not fit for purpose, and did not suit the needs of our organisation. Through careful research, we identified three potential systems for review. Following a comprehensive and insightful demonstration, highlighting LearnPro’s ability to meet all of our needs, we made the decision to proceed.
The transition to LearnPro from our previous LMS was seamless. The support team at LearnPro were extremely flexible with how we provided historical data to be uploaded to the new system, and were on hand at all times for additional support throughout the process from start to finish.
We divided our module build into two phases. Phase 1 – core mandatory training and phase 2 – organisational mandatory training. We decided that in order to ‘go live’ we would need to have all phase 1 modules built and deployed in time for the system launch (approximately six weeks later). In order to do this successfully, two members of our team focused the majority of their time on module development during this period. This resulted in us being able to build and deploy a total of 30 modules, both core and organisational. Modules included a mixture of built from scratch, pre-existing modules with some customisation, and creating redirects to an external learning platform for modules those that were of a very specific subject matter and we needed an interim solution until we were able to develop and internal module from scratch.
Following the launch, we immediately received positive feedback from system users across the organisation, who praised the user-friendliness and simplicity of the new system. We held a number of demos and drop-in sessions to support users and there were minimal queries upon go-live. We did need to communicate to users to expect new log in details and further notifications from ‘LearnPro’ not the internal name we had chosen to give to the system.
learnPro also welcomes feedback if there is something they do not currently offer, which we found to be a particularly positive aspect of the provider.
Support has been fantastic following implementation of the new system. The team are always quick to respond and happy to jump on a support call if needed. A resolution is usually always found, and the team are open to new suggestions and features that can improve both user and internal LMS team experience.”
