Air Rescue UK Celebrates 10 Years of Global Operations with Official Opening of Sentinel House and New Partnership with LearnPro Group and XVR

Air Rescue UK is marking a major milestone—10 years of global operations—with the official opening of its new headquarters and state-of-the-art training facility, Sentinel House, in Harwich, Essex. As part of this exciting development, LearnPro Group is proud to welcome Air Rescue UK as a new XVR On Scene customer!

XVR will participate in events on August 19th and 20th, 2025, attended by invited guests and industry leaders from across the emergency services and safety-critical sectors.

From its origins in search and rescue, Air Rescue UK has evolved into a trusted provider of technical services for the aviation environment. Today, it leads the way in Hoist Operations, Emergency Response Training, Medical Training, and education in Human Factors and Non-Technical Skills.

Sentinel House represents the next chapter in Air Rescue UK’s journey. It offers cutting-edge simulation technology, flexible workspaces, and a collaborative hub for industry professionals. The facility is designed to prepare crews, companies, and communities for the challenges of tomorrow.

The LearnPro team will demonstrate the XVR system at the Sentinel House opening, showcasing immersive training scenarios across a range of incident types, including Fire and Rescue, Policing and Public Order, Rail, Aviation, and Maritime.

Chris Thain, UK Business Development Manager at LearnPro Group, will be on-site to support the Air Rescue team and highlight how XVR’s virtual reality tools help build critical decision-making skills in realistic, risk-free environments.
